March Madness!

We’re racking up a lot of frequent flyer miles this month. We just finished speaking at GLOBALCON, and now we are off to Baltimore for NFMT, DC for the Building Energy Summit and then back here to the Bay area for Cleantech Forum San Francisco.

Last week, Derek Johnson, director of east coast operations, spoke at GLOBALCON. During his session – Driving Efficiency & Savings with Smart Building Energy Management – Derek showcased how predictive energy optimization technology addresses the fundamental shortcomings of HVAC systems and provided case studies to demonstrate how this technology can manage energy consumption in buildings, saving up to 30 percent with little or no capital expenses and no impact on occupant comfort.

This week, our CEO Mike Zimmerman will take over the tradeshow circuit. He will be speaking at Building Operating Management’s NFMT 2012. Session W2.47 – “Smart Buildings: Energy Optimization Technology for Efficiency and Savings” – will explore the next generation of intelligent building energy management, showcasing how BuildingIQ is using advanced technology to predict and automate the management of energy use in buildings.

After his session at NFMT, Mike will head from Baltimore to DC for the Building Energy Summit which will kick off the White House Better Buildings Challenge in Washington, DC to collectively reduce energy consumption 20% by 2020. And finally later this month, we will be presenting with our partner Schneider Electric at Cleantech Forum San Francisco.

Together with Jay Nardone, vice president of Schneider Electric, Mike will discuss how partnerships between energy management vendors and building management system (BMS) vendors are helping redefine the way energy is managed in commercial buildings worldwide. Offering the only system available on the market that goes beyond reporting to deliver

measurable energy savings, Schneider Electric and BuildingIQ are providing the next generation of energy efficiency in commercial buildings.

Will you be attending any of these events? We would love to meet up – let us know where you’ll be!
